I like Delicious because I can now export my favourites into Delicious and access them from other computers. It also is a source to see what other similar websites people have found.

It was fun to search for streaming videos, I have used YouTube before, when setting up for a professional activity day for teachers. Our vice-principal showed a couple of videos relating to the topic of differentiated learning.

I think YouTube is especially popular with the young people. I have noticed in the school library that many students use YouTube not only for fun but also for educational use.

I will use YouTube. I would like to set-up a library blog and use an appropriate video in promoting the school library. That's just one use that comes to mind but I am sure I could find lots of other uses.

Why Blog

I decided to take a blogging course so I could share my opinions and thoughts on a variety of topics and also to connect with other bloggers. Since I work in a secondary school library I am hoping that I can create a school library blog that would be of interest to students and staff.
